Schedule for Light My Cells Challenge and ISBI 2024¶

• 26/01 - Challenge & website page opening ✅
• 26/01 -  Registrations opens (until 30/03) ✅
• 01 14/02 - Release & schedule of the Training Database ✅

• 15/03 - Phase 1 starts until 30/03 04 12/04 ✅
  • this is a preliminary test phase with 5 submissions available out of 36 test images. The results given are mainly for the participants and will not be taken into account in the final ranking.

• 01 04 13/04 - Phase 2 starts until 20/04 ✅
  • this is the final test phase with only one submission available, which will produce the scores for the final ranking.

• 06 18/04 - Paper submission deadline for ISBI 2024 ✅
  • Challenge participants submit their papers on the CMT platform (challenge track)
  • Review period is open for 2 weeks (and metareview)
  • the challenge is still ongoing

• 20 25/04 - Challenge paper authors receive reviews through CMT platform (& end of Phase 2 ) ✅
  • the organizing team will inform the authors of the challenge papers. They will then have a week to respond to comments and make any final methodological changes.
  • the organizing team will invite every "valid" paper submitter to:
  • 1. Present their method at the conference (oral or poster will be decided by 06/05)
  • 2. Be co-authors of the meta-analysis journal manuscript

• 27 30/04 - (FINAL – Camera-ready) Revised paper submissions deadline ✅
  • 1 week for final review/acceptance by the organizers of each challenge
  • Ranking process of the challenge

• 06/05 - Notification of oral versus poster presenters ✅
  • oral papers are top-performers & interesting methods

• 27/05 - Conference – Announcement of winners ✅
